Everyone is welcome to join in an event, whether it’s the 10 km, 50 km, or 100 km walk, or simply come to spectate and enjoy the entertainment. Each entry helps support the festival’s cause and ensures you have access to drink stations throughout the event.
Yes, the event is pram and wheelchair-friendly. Everyone is welcome to join, and we strive to make the course accessible for all participants. Please be mindful of others on the track and follow any guidelines provided for safe participation.
The event will go ahead regardless of the weather, so participants should prepare accordingly. However, in the case of extreme weather conditions that could impact safety, the event may be postponed or cancelled. Any changes will be communicated to all registered participants via email, SMS and social media.
Blacktown International Sports Park is located on Eastern Road, Rooty Hill, just 10 minutes from the Blacktown CBD and 40 minutes from Sydney CBD.
It is easily accessible by the M2, M4 and M7 Motorway networks. It is located within walking a short distance from Rooty Hill Railway Station approx. 7 min and Doonside Railway Station approx 20 minute walk. Alternatively you can catch the 728 bus from Blacktown or Mount Druitt station.
